This is a new version of Paul Firth's great Lightwave Particle Animator.

With LWPA you can create particle effects such as fire and smoke.



Paul wrote this nice program back in 1998 and promised to make a PPC version
as soon as he got a PPC board. But he never actually got a PPC card for
his amiga because the magazine that was supposed to be awarding him a prize
for LWPA went bank-rupt a few days after he won!

Paul left the scene in the meantime but fortunately he is very kind boy and
I got the permission to take over the project.


With this new version 1.1. you get some bug fixes and two new PPC versions.

Changes:
 * Removed a memory corruption and some other small bugs.
 * "Creation Delay" and "Particle Grow" settings are now saved/loaded
   correctly.

* Amiga 68k, bug fixed, Requires 68020 and FPU
* PPC WarpUp
* PPC MorphOS

The settings-File (e.g. the project) is compatible with all versions
including Paul's original one.

The original version can be found on
CU Amiga Super CD-ROM 24 and
Aminet CD 26

and is still included in this new release as well.

Dies ist eine neue Version von Paul Firth's Lightwave Particle Animator.

Mit LWPA lassen sich Partikel-Effekte wie Feuer und Rauch erzeugen.



Paul schrieb diese Programm 1998 und versprach damals eine PPC-Version sobald
er ein PPC-Board bekommt. Das Magazin, das ihm ein solches Board als Gewinn
bescheren sollte, ging jedoch einige Tage nach seinem Sieg pleite...

Paul hat die Amiga-Szene inzwischen verlassen aber er war so freundlich und
erlaubte mir die Weiterfuehrung von LWPA.

Diese neue Version 1.1. enthaelt einige Fehlerkorrekturen und bringt endlich
zwei PPC-Versionen.

Aenderungen:
 * Eine memory corruption und ein paar andere kleinere Fehler korrigiert.
 * Die Einstellungen fuer "Creation Delay" und "Particle Grow" werden jetzt
   korrekt geladen und gespeichert.

* Amiga 68k, Fehlerkorrekturen, benoetigt 68020 und CoProzessor
* PPC WarpUp
* PPC MorphOS

Die Setting-Files (also die Projekte) sind mit allen Versionen kompatibel.
(Auch mit Paul's Original)

Die Original-Version befindet sich u.a. auf
CU Amiga Super CD-ROM 24 und
Aminet CD 26

und ist auch in dieser neuen Version mit enthalten.
